Commitment to Achieving Net Zero:
All Saints Support Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in line with UK Government targets. We will take measurable steps to reduce our environmental impact while continuing to provide high-quality care and support services.
Baseline Emissions Footprint:
Our baseline year is 2023/24. We are a community-based care provider without a fixed premises, which limits some emissions, but our activities generate emissions through staff travel to client
homes, use of electricity and digital equipment for administration, office supplies and procurement, and waste generation. We are in the process of collecting accurate data on our emissions in line with GHG Protocol scopes 1, 2, and relevant 3 emissions.
Emissions Reduction Targets:
We project that our carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years in line with the actions identified below. – By 2025: Establish robust emissions data collection, reduce business travel emissions by 10%. – By 2030: Reduce overall emissions by 30% against 2023/24 baseline. – By 2040: Reduce overall emissions by 70% against baseline. – By 2050: Achieve Net Zero.
Carbon Reduction Initiatives:
To achieve these targets, we are implementing the following initiatives: – Travel & Transport: Encourage car sharing, use of public transport, transition gradually to
hybrid/electric vehicles, use digital/remote meetings. – Energy & Resources: Use energy-efficient equipment, minimise printing and paper use, source sustainable supplies. – Waste & Recycling: Reduce single-use plastics, promote recycling and responsible waste disposal. – Engagement & Training: Raise awareness of sustainability among staff, encourage clients and families to adopt environmentally friendly practices.
Monitoring and Reporting Progress:
We will review and update this plan annually. Progress will be reported on our website. We will align our reporting with UK Government guidance, including PPN 06/21 requirements.
